The Myth of Britishness The ideology of Britain is very wide as different parts if Britain are different. Britain has a strong class system which sets the stereotypes of the people. British culture is very stereotypical. Through British film and show which Americans will see British people. Naturally when people think of Britain they instantly think of the monarchy and the BBC. The media promotes stereotypes to keep the audience entertained.
