Peaky Blinders Season 5 Trailer
The Peaky Blinders trailer consists of many different media techniques. in the beginning of the trailer there is a deserted  Field showing a lonesome character. Automatically we see that the season will have a dark theme as the music is slow and acoustic and the light is low in saturation.  There are shots of characters walking in the streets to show their power. There is also a low angle shot to show the power of one of the characters as we are ‘below’ them. The birds are have you also show the opposite,  has it tells us that the powerful characters also have something/someone above them. The shot of Big Ben also suggests that the show will be different to recent seasons as the location has changed. There is a panoramic shot of the campsites today reinforce this power that the main character holds. Some shots are slowed down and yet some are at a normal pace. The violence of the season is shown through the fire and use of weapons. The outfits wall represent the history of the time it was set. The men wear suits and women wear glamorous dresses, although although well dressed, all of the clothes are dull in colour.

  1. Great start Keely. You have discussed a good variety of techniques used by the producers of the trailer.
