In 1967 there was rarely any promotional material for the movie as things such as TV and social media were not around. In 1967 posters outside of movie theatres are what attracted people to come and watch the movie, due to this, movie posters had a well thought out and had to attract a wide range of people to come and see the movie. As the movie was family friendly, it was very popular so it did not have much competition in the animation industry.The movie was remade into CGI as it creates nostalgia for many people and due to the advances in technology. In 2016 the marketing for the movie was much easier as social media sites like Twitter, Instagram and YouTube were able to promote the movie and were also able to show the trailers. Disneyland and Disney parks around the globe also got involved which helped promote the movie worldwide. The movie also had their own Snapchat filter which everybody could access.
